The Local Gastronomy

The Poitou-Charentes gastronomy traditions are alive and well and visiting the French region is thus not only a pleasure for the eyes but also for the palate. The little-known departments of Deux-Sèvres and Vienne produce great goat cheeses, butter (the world renowned Butter from Echiré) and a stuffing paté called Farci Poitevin.
